Matt Eugene

Matt Eugene Leger is an independent rock musician from 

New Brunswick, Canada. A born performer, Matt Eugene has been composing and performing his own original songs for years. His music is a blend of rock, pop, and blues, with lyrics that are both introspective and relatable. Matt Eugene's music have been well-received by audiences.

In 2015, Matt was released on Universal Music Group which saw a commercial release of "Midnight Train" from that self titled E.P. still available across digital distribution today. The single got radio play across many Canadian stations and college radio evolving into another single from the same release; titled "Empty on Empty" which Matt says is a song about getting through the worst of a broken heart.

"The 2015 EP was produced with the help of Tim Feswick (Feswick Productions) who notably produced the band

"Crash Test Dummies" as well as many other well known groups and artists. He has since retired that project now focusing on playing for audiences in venues across Ontario, Canada (2023, 2024)

"I play in a heavy rock band in Peterborough, Ontario called "Farewell Radio" these days when I'm not writing or performing by myself.. We'll be playing various venue dates in Ontario in 2024. At home in the county of Hastings, Ontario, I perform 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s cover rock and pop for audiences whenever possible. At the end of the day, if I can entertain with song, I'm feeling good. I go home and work on my new album every chance I get to keep my original music going.
